FIU Athletics offers free football tickets to youth organizations

Florida International University is inviting hundreds of children to its football games through its BB&T Community Partners Kids Club program, which gives free tickets to organizations that work with children.

Now in its 11th year, BB&T Community Partners Kids Club provides eligible not-for-profit groups such as elementary and middle schools, and youth leagues with complimentary tickets to select home games, one of them being the home season opener against in-state rival University of Central Florida (UCF).

The FIU vs. UCF football game will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at FIU Stadium on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus, 11200 SW 8th St. in West Miami-Dade. The game will also be televised on CBS Sports.
