The online magazine ranked the HWCOM as No. 9 in the nation in its 2014 HispanicBusiness Best Schools Annual Diversity Report, which refers to the chosen schools as “the cream of the crop when it comes to institutions of higher learning with Hispanic postgraduate enrollments.”

“We are extremely proud of our commitment to diversity and are delighted that only a year after graduating our first class, our accomplishments are garnering this type of recognition,” said John A. Rock, M.D., HWCOM’s founding dean and senior vice president for health affairs.

Criteria for the rankings include the number of Hispanic students, faculty, graduates and programs that attract and retain Hispanic students.
