Special ticket promotion for FIU football vs. Pittsburgh Sept. 13

Saturday’s game between FIU football and the Pittsburgh Panthers is “FIU Football Faculty, Staff, & Retirees Appreciation Day,” which means discounted tickets are available for members of the university community and their families and friends.

Coming off their first win of the season last Saturday against Wagner, FIU football (1-1)  hopes to topple Atlantic Coast Conference foe Pitt (2-0) Sept. 13 on Ocean Bank Field at FIU Stadium. Kickoff is slated for noon.

Here are more details on the promotion:

  • Reserved tickets are only $9 each (regularly $27), which includes a complimentary $5 concession voucher.
  • First 200 tickets purchased will receive a free upgrade to Club Level seating, complete with one (1) meal voucher per ticket purchased.
  • Admission tickets include access to the Panther Pals Kids Fun Zone with inflatables, face-painting, balloon art and meet-and-greet photo opportunities with FIU student-athletes.

Tickets can be purchased at the University Credit Union Box Office, located at the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse (on the west side of FIU Stadium). The box office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A valid FIU employee ID must be presented at the time of purchase.

In addition, tickets will also be sold at BBC on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wolfe University Center outside of The Beacon office (WUC 124) and at MMC on Friday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Graham Center across from the GC Pit.

FIU students get in free with a valid student ID.
