FIU to host 135 employers at Career Fair Feb. 9

On Feb. 9, FIU will host 135 employers at the Spring 2015 Career Fair at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus, which will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the FIU Arena. The Office of Career Services anticipates 1,500 students and alumni will attend the event.

The lineup of employers who have signed up to showcase their internship and employment opportunities includes private industry; public, educational, and non-profit organizations; local government, federal government, law enforcement, and military.

Among the companies that will be present are Burger King Corp., Central Intelligence Agency, Emphasys Software, Infinity Insurance, Johnson & Johnson, New York Life, Teach For America, U.S. Coast Guard and Yelp.

The FIU Career Fair aims to help students prepare for the transition into the working world and to provide employers with access to candidates with a broad range of degrees and experience levels.
