In a nutshell: I function as one of the reservationists who coordinates and facilitates an array of different events that occur in the Wolfe University Center and, at times, the surrounding areas. I work with internal groups such as student organizations and departments to external groups such as non-profit organizations, corporations and the FIU community, who also reserve the space for personal and family celebrations.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Interacting with students and helping them develop and facilitate their events as well as my advising of the FIU BBC Futbol Club.
What do you think students and your fellow faculty/staff should know about your department? We want to see creative and great ideas for concerts, lectures and events that seem out of the box but can be [implemented] in a safe manner.
Where is your favorite spot on campus? Why? Biscayne Bay. I am truly fortunate to have a view of it from my office window. It reminds me daily what a privilege it is to work at a beautiful, progressive university.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about FIU? All the services we offer, not only to our students but also to our FIU community at large. There are so many great programs and people who are here to see that whatever you are doing becomes a success.
How do you help make FIU “Worlds Ahead?” Every day I look at ways of reaching students, whether it is through the latest social media or just streamlining our processes for a better experience.
