As 2015 comes to a close, check out great moments captured by FIU photographers Ben Guzman, Carl Frederick-Francois, Doug Garland and Eduardo Merille in December – including photos from Art Basel, commencement and student life on campus.
During a photoshoot at Art Basel Miami, the FIU Magazine photographer captured this image of fairgoers admiring artist-turned-curator Omar Lopez-Chahoud’s “Untitled,” a satellite show concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach. Lopez-Chahoud, an FIU alumnus, takes joy in introducing up-and-coming artists to the masses.
