Decision Sciences and Information Systems, was appointed to the Advisory Board
of StrataSys, a South Florida strategic consulting, e-business and technology
solution firm. StrataSys recently awarded a grant to FIU's Knowledge Management
Lab, under Becerra-Fernandez's direction, to fund a research project on intelligent
application integration. The lab will develop a StrataSys Celware Certification
Center, which will enable StrataSys and FIU to validate solutions that allow organizations
