Face of the Gods

SEPT. 14 - OCT. 25 ­ ART EXHIBITION & LECTURE: Face of the Gods: Art & Altars of Africa and the African Americas. Featuring 15 altars that are recreations of traditional African sites of worship and "living" altars made by contemporary artists to explore African art and religion. The Steven and Dorothea Green Critics' Lecture Series presents Robert Farris Thompson, one of the foremost authorities on African and Afro-Atlantic culture on Fri., Sept. 14.
