The main purpose of President Havel’s visit to Miami, as well as the topic of his speech, will be to express solidarity with the struggle for freedom of the Cuban people.

Marifeli Pérez-Stable Professor, Florida International University
Jaime Suchlicki Professor, University of Miami
Ricardo Bofill Founder, Cuban Committee for Human Rights
Moderator: Ralph Clem Director of Center for Transnational and Comparative Studies

Tickets are required for admission. They are free of charge and are very limited.

Tickets will be distributed on Tuesday, September 17, at the following locations:

Please arrive early, doors open at 8:15 a.m.
Ticket holders must be seated by 9:30 a.m.

You will need to present a Picture ID in order to enter this event.

Free Visitor Parking is Available at the 5th Floor of the Gold Garage
(In order to enter the Gold Garage you must use the entrance on SW 107th Avenue and SW 16th Street. Pass the traffic circle and continue forward towards the Gold Garage located on the right side of the road.)
