TO A FRIENDThe FIU Alumni Association invites its
alumni, friends, and the community to the Second
Annual Torch Awards on April 3, 2002
at the University Park Campus, Graham Center Ballrooms. The award
was created to honor alumni and faculty who have had a significant
impact on their profession, their community, and the university.
Three winners will be selected in four categories.
They include Outstanding Achievement Award - for outstanding success
and distinction in their chosen career; Community Leadership Award
- for exemplary service and civic involvement in their community;
Charles E. Perry Visionary Award - for exceptional contributions
and vision at an early stage in their career; FIU Alumni Association
Service Award - for exemplary service and dedication to the Alumni
Association and/or university community; and the Outstanding FIU
Faculty Award - for making a lasting impression on the lives of
FIU alumni.
Tickets for the event are:
$40 Alumni Association Member & Guest(s)
$50 Individual
$450 / Table of 10
$1,000 Sponsor (includes table of 10 & program
recognition)
