The entire University community is
invited to the groundbreaking ceremony for University Park’s
Graham University Center (GC) expansion project on Tues., July
8, at 12:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at the GC north
entrance, under the blue awning that is just outside the cafeteria.
In a project that will provide critically
needed space and increased services,
GC is undergoing a $5.2 million expansion that will add 31,000
square feet. The Graham Center Offices, Panther Card Office,
Computer Lab, Graham Center Box Office and Fresh Food Company
cafeteria will be allotted more space in the renovations. Additionally,
there will be a covered walkway that will extend to the entrance
of the Graham Center Ballrooms. A new food court will be added
and Campus Life offices will be moved to a second-floor area.
