Pulitzer Prize-Winning Playwright Nilo Cruz at FIU Dec. 5

Straight from the acclaimed opening of Anna in the Tropics at Manhattan’s Royale Theatre on Broadway, playwright Nilo Cruz will spend an evening reading from his works and conducting an interactive discussion with the audience on Fri., Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in FIU-University Park’s Wertheim Performing Arts Center Mainstage Theatre. Seating for the free event will be by reservation only.

Cruz’s works include Two Sisters and a Piano, Lorca in a Green Dress, Night Train to Bolina and A Bicycle Country, as well as the Pulitzer Prize-winning Anna in the Tropics. In addition to his endeavors as a playwright, Cruz has taught at Brown University, the University of Iowa and Yale University.
