| Where: |
Florida International University College of Law’s Rafael Diaz-Balart
Hall, Room 1100 at FIU-University Park, 11200 SW 8th St., Miami. |
| Why: |
Over the course of American history, perhaps no more than four or five
journalists have ever been granted such exposure to a sitting president.
Draper’s perspective is unique, colorful and news-making. According to
Draper, in President Bush he found a man of surprising dimension, and
aspects both inspiring and dismaying, a person far more textured than the
caricature promulgated not only by Bush's critics but by the president
himself. |
