FIU College of Business among the best in U.S. News & World Report ranking for International Business

MIAMI – Florida International University’s College of Business Administration is the only Florida school to earn a top fifteen spot in the category of international business programs in U.S. News and World Report‘s “America’s Best Colleges 2009.”

The eleventh-place ranking marks the fifth consecutive year the college-well-known for its international programs, diverse student body, and faculty from around the globe-has landed in the top fifteen in the category.

“These impressive rankings show the success of the efforts of our students, faculty, and staff,” said Joyce J. Elam, executive dean of the business school. “The rankings also give us the motivation to continue the momentum of strengthening the programs, services, and opportunities we offer in the international business area. We are very excited to have maintained our rank in this indicator of excellence this year.”

The annual ranking is considered a key reference tool for students and families evaluating top-quality collegiate programs.
