Dine in style at BBC

Students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management prepare and host gourmet meals open to the blue-and-gold community.

Faculty/staff, administrators, students and alumni are invited to sample the gourmet menus that are being prepared by students of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Biscayne Bay Campus.

The same students who work with the likes of chefs Jamie Oliver, Rachael Ray, Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay and Anthony Bourdain during the world-renowned Food Network South Beach Food and Wine Festival will plan, prepare, cook and host luncheons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays this semester as part of their industry training. The result is a three-course gourmet meal (consisting of salad, warm bread, choice between two entrées, iced tea, wine, dessert and coffee or tea) available to guests for $15 per person served in the school’s dining room.

The next luncheon will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 11:45 a.m., in HM 129 at BBC.

Wednesday luncheons are scheduled for Feb. 4, March 4 and April 8. Thursday luncheons will take place on Feb. 5, Feb. 26, March 12, April 2 and April 16; and Tuesday luncheons are scheduled for Feb. 10, March 10, March 31 and April 14.
