FIU Interior Design goes ‘green’

FIU Interior Design has been participating in designing the interiors for the Solar Decathlon house located on the Engineering Central Park. The students in the Sustainable Interior Design Practices course were given the task of utilizing a combination of eco-friendly and sustainable materials to create an environment that exhibits the beauty and possibilities of an earth friendly home.  The five groups will present their final projects on April 2 and be judged by faculty and the FIU Emerging Green Builders student chapter.  The winning project will be installed in the Solar House.
