Catch Danny Pino ’96 on stage


The alumnus and star of TV’s “Cold Case” is co-starring in the Actors’ Playhouse production of “Havana Bourgeois” at the Miracle Theater through June 7.

may-27-1Golden Panther Danny Pino ’96, one of the stars of TV’s “Cold Case,” currently is starring in the Actors’ Playhouse production of “Havana Bourgeois” playing at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables.

Written by Carlos Lacámara, “Havana Bourgeois” is set in Cuba from 1958-1960 and explores the impact of Fidel Castro’s revolution on the Cuban middle-class. The play follows the lives of the employees of a Havana-based ad agency during the island’s transition from capitalism to communism. Pino plays the leading role of Alberto Varela, a talented aspiring art director at the agency.

“Havana Bourgeois” will run through June 7. Discounted rates are offered for groups of 15 or more through the Miracle Theatre’s group sales department. Single tickets may be purchased through the box office at 305-444-9293 or online.
