What do you do when you are not working at FIU?
I work as a volunteer at Liga Contra el Cancer (League Against Cancer).
Lourdes is WAY TOO MODEST.
In August 2002, the FIU College of Law opened.
Everything was learn as you go, especially for the students.
Lourdes was "ALL EVERYTHING" for the law students (myself included).
She solved many, many problems for our class and never told us something "wasn't her job."
The very first FIU College of Law class will always be grateful for all you help.
Thank you Lourdes.

FIU-College of Law 2005
Lourdes has been an asset to FIU, a great colleague, someone dedicated to serve people.
Her mother Lourdes Aguila gave a lot to this community through her work and leadership at La Liga Contra el Cancer (League
Against Cancer). Lourdes inherited from her mother her dedication to serve others. I feel privileged to have known and have these two extraordinary women as freinds.
Good luck in all you do, Lourdes, and keep in touch.
