PantherSoft Financials system scheduled for upgrade


The service will be unavailable July 1-12.

As part of the process of upgrading the PantherSoft Financials system from version 8.4 to version 9.0, and implementing PantherSoft Contracts and Grants version 9, the current PantherSoft Financials system 8.4 will not be available to FIU faculty/staff to enter, process or change information beginning on Wednesday, July 1.

The service will be unavailable through Sunday, July 12.

During this period, PantherSoft Financials system will be available in “view only” mode. For emergency procedures on processing transactions related to Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Travel, click here.

System users should not that this “system freeze” only applies to the current PantherSoft Financials system. The PantherSoft Campus Solutions student information system will not be affected. 

To facilitate the transition, both instructor-led training and online training are being offered to faculty/staff.

The new PantherSoft Financials version 9 and PantherSoft Contracts and Grants version 9 will become available on Monday, July 13.
