New and improved campus maps feature greater legibility and enhanced graphics
By Karen Cochrane
Just in time for the fall semester, FIU has updated its campus maps to reflect recent changes to the Modesto A. Maidique and Biscayne Bay campuses. The maps, which had not been updated in several years, are easier to read thanks to enhanced graphics.
While the maps are currently being printed, members of the FIU community can access them via these PDF links: Biscayne Bay Campus and Modesto A. Maidique Campus.
Soon to come: FIU interactive Google maps.
Did the BOT ever consider just giving the UP campus the honorary name of Modesto Maidique Campus instead of changing the actual name. We still refer to PC as PC and not CP after Charles Perry (which deserves the greatest honor). Yes…yes…I know that there already is a CP building on campus. Can we just go back to calling them North and South?
There is absolutely no reason to change the name of UNIVERSITY PARK CAMPUS, doesnt Madique have enough with his $400,000 salary and his $100,000 Bonus (which he requested)???? Or should we keep closing programs to keep his memory around? Soon, FIU will be the only Univeristy that has no active programs, all because they wanted to honor an ex-president
I will always consider it University Park. The new name is stupid and unmerrited!!
cool, i will bookmark it,
I can't believe they changed the name of University Park to Maidique's name. He's so selfish! I will always refer to UP as University Park, No to Maidique's Campus!
