Student “Ice Cream Social” Friday at 3 p.m.

FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg, who is committed to making FIU more student-centered, will host an Ice Cream Social for students Friday, Aug. 28, from 3-4 p.m. in the Graham Center Pit at Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Co-sponsored by Student Affairs, Student Government Association, Student Alumni Association and the Office of the President, the event is free and all FIU students are invited.

The gathering is one of the official events surrounding the Aug. 28 installation of Rosenberg as FIU’s fifth president.
