FIU vs UM, Women’s Volleyball – Sept. 10, 7pm

The FIU volleyball team defeated Lipscomb, 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-23) at the Horejsi Family Athletics Center in Lawrence, Kan., on Saturday, as the Panthers secured the Jayhawk Invitational title. Junior Natalia Valentin earned tournament MVP honors while senior Isadora Rangel and classmate Olga Vergun were named to the Jayhawk Invitational All-Tournament Team.

FIU is now 5-1 on the season.

This Thursday the Panthers co-host the FIU/UM Invitational at U.S. Century Bank Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10.
