The newly-constructed two-story, 50,000-square-foot fieldhouse is on the west end zone of FIU stadium.

Prior to the first home game of the 2009 football season on Saturday, Sept. 26, FIU unveiled the new R. Kirk Landon Football Fieldhouse on the west end zone of FIU Stadium.

The two-story, 50,000-square-foot fieldhouse houses a clear-span weight room, equipment room, full-service athletic training facility, ticket office, merchandise area, 8,500-square-feet of locker rooms, an Athletics Hall of Fame, and classrooms open to an outdoor deck.

The facility was named after FIU Trustee R. Kirk Landon, in appreciation of his $1 million donation to Golden Panthers football.
