“We love to give back to the community, especially around the holiday season,” head coach Cindy Russo said. “We really hope that our fans can help us make this food and toy drive a huge success.”

FIU meets St. Joseph’s for the first time in 15 years and just the second time in the overall series. Andrea Nagy and Albena Branzova each scored 17 points to lead the Panthers to a 72-60 win Jan. 4, 1995.

The Golden Panthers return to Miami for a four-game homestead after a 67-56 loss at Wisconsin-Green Bay on Nov. 21. Senior Marquita Adley has recorded a double-double in the first four games of the season, setting her personal best for most doubles-doubles in a season.

St. Joseph’s returns five of its top six scorers from last season. The frontcourt is the backbone of the team with four returning letterwinners, including two returning starters.
