Psychology professor wins best journal article of the year


Dan Wright, a cognitive psychologist in FIU’s Department of Pyschology, was voted author of the best journal article of the year by Psychonomic Society in November.

His article, “Functions for traditional and multilevel approaches to signal detection theory,” was selected from among 150 stories published by the Society in 2009.

Wright’s main research, part of the Cognitive Laboratory And Workshop (CLAW) at FIU, focuses on applied memory research in particular eyewitness testimony.
