President Rosenberg reflects on China trip

In his first trip to China, President Mark B. Rosenberg presided over the graduation of nearly 170 Chinese students from FIU’s School of Hospitality Management and Tourism on the campus of Tianjin University of Commerce. While there, he attended FIU’s first alumni event in China and met with students, faculty and administrators who make FIU’s Marriott Tianjin China Program a success.

In a blog on newsarchives.fiu.edu, Rosenberg chronicled his international trip, sharing commentary, photos and video.  Earlier this week, he sat with the FIU News team to reflect on his time abroad and share the experience with the university community.

“The Chinese are bringing their A-game to the twenty-first century,” said Rosenberg. “We better be prepared for that.”
