This week’s Budget Forum postponed

The Budget Forum originally scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed.

As you may know from reading media reports, this past Thursday, Gov. Charlie Crist received the budget passed by the Legislature. He is now in the process of reviewing it. We are also looking at the prospect of a special session.

All of this may have a material impact on FIU’s budget. President Mark B. Rosenberg and the Governmental Relations team will continue to monitor this developing situation closely and will reschedule the Budget Forum as soon there is more definitive information to share.
