Students and alumni invited to career fairs at MMC, BBC

Career Services will host a Career Fair at MMC on Sept. 30 and another at BBC on Oct. 6. Approximately 80 companies from the public, private, not-for-profit and government/military sectors will be represented. More than 1,000 FIU students and alumni are expected to attend the fairs.

FIU’s Career Services hosts four career fairs every year, two at Modesto A. Maidique Campus and two at Biscayne Bay Campus.

The next Career Fair at MMC is set for Thursday, Sept. 30, from 3-7 p.m., in the U.S. Century Bank Arena.

BBC then will host its fair on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., in the Wolfe University Center.

Among the companies that will be on hand to introduce themselves to FIU’s students and alumni (with a Panther ID) are the Burger King Corporation, Ericsson, GEICO, the Miami HEAT, PepsiCo, the Target Corporation and the university’s own Human Resources.

Admission is free for FIU students and alumni. Business attire is required.
