FIU College of Law faculty ranked most diverse in nation

MIAMI – The Princeton Review has ranked Florida International University’s College of Law first on its list of schools with the most diverse faculty.

The Princeton Review rankings, included in the 2011 edition of the Best Law Schools, are based on feedback from 18,000 students.  The 80-question survey asks students about their school’s academics, student body, campus life, themselves, and their career plans.

Also in the survey, FIU Law ranked second in the “Best Environment for Minority Students” category. The Princeton Review’s list can be found here.

“Our diversity is one of our strongest assets,” said Dean R. Alexander Acosta. “Our goal is to provide an excellent legal education in a diverse, vibrant and dynamic learning environment.”

FIU Law was also recently ranked Top 10 law school in the nation for Hispanics by Hispanic Business.

These rankings follow a National Jurist assessment this month that concluded that the college of law is among the 10 best value schools in the nation.
