FIU alumna Carmen Reinhart ’78 to speak at MMC March 21


The School of International and Public Affairs will host on Monday, March 21, Carmen Reinhart ’78, a College of Arts & Sciences grad and Dennis Weatherstone senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.

The economist will deliver a lecture titled “This Time Is Different: Eight Centuries of Financial Folly” as part of the Ruth K. and Shepard Broad Distinguished Lecture Series, from 3:30-5:30 p.m., in the GC Ballrooms at Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Admission to the Torch Award winner’s lecture, which is co-sponsored by the FIU Department of Economics, is free and open to the public.
