Don’t miss CAPSapalooza 2011! at BBC Oct. 24-28

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) at Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) will sponsor the first CAPSapalooza 2011! event to kick off National College Alcohol and Drug Awareness Week Oct. 24-28, 2011.

“We will be hosting a series of interactive activities, seminars, and simulations, including a mock car crash, for FIU students that focused on the important topic of alcohol and drug prevention,” said university psychologist Xuan Stevens.

CAPS has planned a weeklong series of events that will incorporate various interactive activities beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, at BBC’s Intramural Fields. The goal is to raise awareness about the dangers associated with drug and alcohol use, as well as share ideas that could help prevent use among students in the first place.
