The Division of Information Technology will be conducting an upgrade of the Informacast system on Saturday, October 15, 2011 between 4 and 7 p.m. During that time, multiple test broadcast messages may be sent to some or all campus phones, call boxes, speakers and housing callboxes.
The upgrade is necessary to continue providing FIU with state-of-the-art technology that protects life and property.
A second test will take place on Friday, October 21, 2011 that will include our text messaging system.
