If you haven’t obtained an FIU One Card yet and you teach, work or go to school at the university, pay attention: During the month of October, mobile carding stations will be set up around Modesto A. Maidique Campus and the Engineering Campus, making it easier than ever to obtain the new card.
To receive your FIU One Card for free, just bring your current PantherCard. If you no longer have it, you can get a new FIU One Card for $15.
All of your privileges will be automatically transferred to your new FIU One Card, including dining plans, door access and more.
For more information about the benefits of the new card, click here.
The schedule of the mobile stations for the remainder of October is as follows:
- CSC 1123: Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Frost Art Museum, in the hallway across Room 105: Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- PC, second floor, in the HR hallway: Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- PCA, outside patio, Room 117: Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Wertheim Conservatory, Room 130: Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- CBC, second floor, multi-purpose room: Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Everglades Hall, first floor lounge: Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- AHSC II, Room 453: Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- RDB, elevator lobby: Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Engineering Campus, second floor, Panther Pit: Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
I refuse to pay $15 for the new One Card, when I pay EVERY semester for an ID service that is completely useless to 99% of the student body. Where does all the money we pay for ID services go to? Certainly not for a replacement card. Huge rip off.
Everything on the FIU News site is censored. I love FIU, but you guys censor everything and anything that’s not a rainbows and sunshine comment on FIU. Come on…
