FIU professors debrief foreign journalists on presidential primaries

FIU professors from the Department of Politics and International Relations sat down with journalists from across the country on Monday, Jan. 30, to discuss the Florida Primary and its importance to the presidential campaign.

Professors Nicol Rae, Kathryn DePalo, Adrian Ang, and Kevin Evans briefed the journalists on issues ranging from race to religion to possible vice presidential contenders. The reporters, who represented countries such as Norway, Spain, Morocco and Korea, are touring Florida as part of an effort by the U.S. Department of State to introduce journalists to the American political system.
