Seth Gadinsky appointed founding chair of the Office of Engaged Creativity Advisory Council

Seth Gadinsky has been elected as founding chair for the Office of Engaged Creativity Advisory Council. Gadinsky is owner of Gadinsky Real Estate, LLC, a full service retail real estate company located on Miami Beach. In his new role, Gadinsky will be responsible for building awareness of FIU and developing partnerships that offer undergraduate and graduate students unique ‘real world’ experiences.

“Our Office of Engaged Creativity Advisory Council is comprised of experts from varying industries within the South Florida community who bring a fresh perspective. With Seth’s more than 27 years of real estate experience, he brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our office,” said Brian Schriner, dean of FIU’s College of Architecture + The Arts. “As the newly elected chair, he will be key in deploying the power of the arts throughout our community.”

“It is a great privilege to be elected to serve as founding chair for the Office of Engaged Creativity Advisory Council at FIU, an organization that I hold in the very highest regard,” said Gadinksy. “I look forward to working with Dean Schriner and his team to continue enhancing the school’s profile and its contributions to the community.”

The Office of Engaged Creativity is dedicated to creating unique learning opportunities for students while furthering FIU’s commitment to cutting-edge research and creative activities that impact the health and sustainability of local and global communities. By utilizing the talents of its faculty and students in the visual arts, performing arts, and design specialties, it executes collaborative problem-solving initiatives.

The office is headquartered at FIU’s Miami Beach Urban Studios within the historical 420 building on Lincoln Road. The facility features an expansive studio space for architecture and fine arts students, as well as practice and performance spaces for music and theatre students, and a gallery.
