Join Panther Camp 2012, get your Blue and Gold on

Panther Camp season is in full swing– and there’s still time to join in on the fun as the next three camps get underway in July and August.

This year, FIU’s Orientation and Parent Programs has expanded the popular, off-campus, summer program to four sessions to include a camp especially for students transferring into the university.

The cost for the three-day program is $80. There are 200 spots per camp, and registration will remain open until every camp’s spot is filled – so don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to journey to Lake Placid, Fla., and learn the ways of blue-and-gold life.

Camps are scheduled for:

July 20-22: Open to incoming fall freshmen and Panthers enrolled in Summer B classes

Aug. 8-10: Only open to incoming transfer students

Aug. 15-17: Open to incoming fall freshmen and Panthers enrolled in Summer B classes

The registration fee includes:

• Air-conditioned coach bus ride to and from camp
• Lodging – Males and females sleep in separate, air-conditioned cabins that have carpeting and indoor plumbing
• All meals
• T-shirts, gifts and a four-year Student Alumni Membership
