FIU Theatre presents: Medea

FIU Theatre presents Medea, a new adaptation of Euripides’ iconic tragedy starting Friday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. The student production will run for two weeks (Wednesday through Sunday) at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Written and directed by Marilyn R. Skow, chair of the Department of Theatre, this student production features BFA majors Lucas Hood, Mariana Vallejo, Zack Myers and Zair Bula and stars Julissa Perez as Medea. Perez portrays an emotionally crushed woman, obsessed with revenge, and she skillfully takes the audience on a journey through the darkest parts of her character’s mind.
