The Archbishop Thomas Wenski will address FIU students and members of the community about “Spirituality and the Contemporary Roman Catholic Church,” as part of the Program in the Study of Spirituality’s annual lecture series. The event is free and open to the public.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed Thomas Wenski the fourth Archbishop of Miami and Metropolitan See of the Province of Miami (which includes the seven dioceses of the State of Florida) on April 20, 2010. He is the only Florida native serving as a bishop in the state. The Archbishop is inspired by the Episcopal motto of “Omnia Omnibus”, which means “all things to all men.”
The lecture will take place on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at the School of International and Public Affairs Building.
