Gaze at the stars, hear ‘X Factor’ contestant sing live Nov. 30

The end-of-semester Star Party is here!

Join physics Professor James Webb on a journey to the edge of the universe on Friday, Nov. 30. Every semester, Webb steps out of the classroom and hosts a series of star parties, sharing his passion for astronomy with the general public. These nighttime events feature a brief lecture and refreshments, capped off by a chance at some stargazing, weather permitting.

Friday’s event will also feature a special guest, X Factor contestant Marivana Viscuso.

The party is from 8-11 p.m. in the Chemistry Physics building, room 145.
