‘Tis the season for Festival of the Trees

FIU’s Interior Architecture Department hosts Festival of the Trees on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Coral Gables Museum. Tickets are $70 and can be purchased by clicking here.

In its 26^th year, the event has raised more than $100,000 for student scholarships, field trips, guest speakers, and visiting designers.

Each year, the design community joins forces with local companies to create an interpretation of the holiday tree. The ‘trees’ are then displayed and auctioned at the gala opening held at Coral Gables Museum. The lucky winning bidders take these extraordinary creations and use them for holiday decorations in either their homes or offices.
