5 apps to help you through the semester

With the Spring semester well underway, we thought we would compile a list of apps for your smartphone or tablet to help you at FIU.  If you have other apps that you use regularly and want to share with the university community, please comment below and we will add them to the post as well.

1. FIU Mobile

This is the official FIU mobile app.  Check class schedules, find buildings on the map and various other functions.

2. Blackboard Mobile Learning

Use this one to login to classes and get notifications for grade updates and assignments from professors. You can even get notified when exam grades are available.

3. iStudiezPro

This app lets you manage assignments, a planner and your calendar.

4. Google Drive

itunes /android

Google drive lets you easily create, manage, find and update your Google docs.

5. Work+ 

itunes

Find a place to study with your group when you are off campus. This apps helps you find locations with WiFi, Starbucks and other study friendly locations.
