5 things to know for Monday

1.   Get freshFIU agroecology organic garden
The documentary Fresh profiles farmers, thinkers and business people who are working to re-invent the food system for a healthier, more sustainable future.  Catch a screening of the film, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with experts from the School of Environment, Arts and Society, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the WUC Mary Ann Wolfe Theatre (BBC).

2. Are you ready for a career?
Put on your best professional outfit, print out a few copies of your resume, grab your Panther ID and head to an upcoming career fair. The next fairs will be Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the WUC Ballrooms (BBC) and Thursday, Feb. 14, at the U.S. Century Bank Arena (MMC).

3. Tie up loose ends
Ready to graduate this April? Make sure you submit your graduation application online by Thursday, Feb. 7.

4. Invitation to strike
Panther softball opens their season at home with a double header on Friday, Feb. 8, at the softball field. The women take on Kansas at 4 p.m. and battle it out with Georgetown at 6:30 p.m.

5.  Dance the night away
More than 150 students will be dancing for 25 straight hours to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network’s local foundation at Miami Children’s Hospital, beginning at noon on Saturday, Feb. 9.
