FIU honors Greenberg Traurig’s Cesar Alvarez and distinguished alumni at Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame Awards


Cesar L. Alvarez, co-chairman at Greenberg Traurig P.A., and four distinguished Florida International University (FIU) College of Business alumni will be inducted into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, an annual ceremony honoring those who have achieved distinction as founders and builders of business enterprises.

Cesar L. Alvarez will receive the South Florida CEO of the Year award; Jose Manuel Diaz (BBA ’86), CEO, Compass Office Solutions, will be inducted as Founder; Thomas Cornish (BBA ’85),  president & CEO, Seitlin, a Marsh & McLennan Agency, as Builder; Nicholas Alexander (BBA ’07), vice president, Tierra Nueva and Camrose Trading Wine and Spirits, will receive the Family Business award;  and Louis Toledo (BBA ’10), president and CEO, T&S Roofing Systems, will receive the Young Alum award.

The ceremony will take place Thursday, May 23, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m. JW Marriott Marquis, 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Miami.
