Buzz on TEDxFIU night


On the Wertheim Performing Art Center stage Thursday night an artist explained physics and a physicist talked art; a blind man read the words of Mahatma Gandhi; chemical weapons were reimagined for medicinal purposes; and the violin became a hip-hop instrument. These were just few of the talks at FIU’s second TEDx event, which featured 10 inspiring presentations from students, professors and alumni who challenged the audience to think outside the box.
