Hurricane Andrew mural finds new home at FIU

In 1992, students from Mays Middle School in Goulds, FL, painted a mural that depicted what they heard, saw and felt before, during and after Hurricane Andrew. Tomorrow the iconic, 48-foot-long “Love Can Build Anything” Hurricane Andrew Mural will be donated to the International Hurricane Research Center (IHRC) and will be on display the IHRC’s main office on the third floor of the MARC building at FIU. One of the panels is signed by President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Clinton.
