Latin American entrepreneurs: many firms, little innovation


Picture 5The World Bank has selected Florida International University’s College of Business, School of International and Public Affairs and Latin American and Caribbean Center to host the first post-launch dialogue of its flagship report “Latin American Entrepreneurs: Many Firms but Little Innovation.”

On Thursday, December 5 , 2013 at 3:30 p.m., the report’s authors Daniel Lederman, Julian Messina, and Samuel Pienknagura will present their findings, followed by an analysis by Jose Aldrich, vice dean of the College of Business, and Dianne Sanchez, CEO of the Technology Foundation of the Americas.

The event will take place on School of International and Public Affairs, Room 103, at FIU Modesto A. Madique Campus, 11200 SW 8th St, in West Miami-Dade.
