Please take note of the following events that will take place at the FIU Arena within the next week and will affect traffic at MMC.
FIU College of Law Commencement
This Friday, May 23, 2014, the FIU College of Law will celebrate its commencement ceremony at the FIU Arena at 10 a.m.
Periods of high traffic are expected around the U.S. Century Bank Arena one hour before and after the ceremony.
Please note the following:
· Lot 9D, adjacent to the College of Business Complex, and next to Rafael Diaz-Balart Hall, will be closed for event staff.
· Panther Parking Garage will be used by commencement guests
· Southwest 113th Ave./University Drive, which runs in front of the arena, will be closed from the entrance of Lot 8 to the entrance of Lot 9.

Periods of high traffic can be expected on the west side of the Modesto A. Maidique Campus starting at 9 a.m. each day. Ceremonies are expected to run 90 minutes to two hours.
Please be aware that Panther Parking Garage, Lot 9 by the College of Law, Lot 10 by the tennis courts and Lot 11 at the arena will be more congested than normal due to the commencements.
Also note that Southwest 113th Ave./University Drive, which runs in front of the arena, will be closed from the entrance of Lot 8 to the entrance of Lot 9.
