HispanicBusiness has named FIU Law the top school for Hispanics in its 2014 Diversity Practices annual report.
The report identifies the top 40 graduate institutions for Hispanic enrollment. Other ranking criteria includes faculty members and programs that attract and retain Hispanic students. At FIU Law, 41 percent of the J.D. degrees confirmed were earned by Hispanics and 22.7 percent of the faculty are Hispanic.
“With each passing year, FIU Law gets better and better,” said FIU Law School Dean R. Alexander Acosta. “We are proud to have moved into the No. 1 spot, and intend to work to remain there.”
