We would also like to make you aware that the following rules related to tailgating in Tamiami Park:

  • No littering
  • Alcoholic beverages, other than beer, are prohibited. Legal drinking age will be enforced.
  • No glass bottles or containers permitted
  • Grills are allowed. Fires in the ground are not. Please do not leave your used charcoal behind.
  • The sale of merchandise is expressly forbidden
  • No tents larger than 10 feet by 12 feet permitted
  • Music must be contained to your tailgating area. No DJs, stages or speaker systems allowed
  • Park speed limit is 15 miles per hour

Planning ahead and observing these rules will ensure that you have a wonderful time and avoid any frustration associated with being turned away at the entrance to the tailgate area within Tamiami Park.

Please remember that tailgating is also allowed on FIU grounds, in lot 6, east of the FIU stadium. Please consult our tailgating policies and procedures as you plan your event and don’t forget to fill out the tailgating space reservation form. Space is limited.

Please enjoy yourselves and be safe.  For more information or questions regarding tailgating and parking, please contact the Department of Parking and Transportation at 305-348-3615.

Go Panthers!
