Starting this summer, FIU is offering a new major that promises to be popular among local and out-of state students. The major, “305 ’til I die, Miami Studies,” will be offered by FIU’s WorldWide School to fill the need for Miami-savvy graduates who can help take the city to the next level; the program will be lead by sociology professor Jose Gomez.
“Here at Florida International University and in a diverse city like Miami, we pride ourselves on being a Worlds Ahead institution. That’s why we’re extremely excited to announce this one-of-a-kind major,” says Professor Gomez.
A business savvy course using DJ Khaled’s major keys to success will be offered, as well as a “Miami Time” calculation course that will fulfill every student’s math requirements.
Upon completion of the degree program, students will receive a Salt Life sticker and a 2-for-1 voucher from the Ticket Clinic.

[…] Maybe I should Double Major? […]
Actually, this would be a brilliant idea! Maybe not a whole major, but some classes on local Miami history and studies would be amazing. We have a unique history here that blends Latin America, the Caribbean and the US. We should showcase it!
This is a joke right?
